Just a Few Weeks To Go

It's almost time. We're very excited. Everyday we creep closer and closer towards our wedding day. I proposed almost two and a half years ago - New Years Eve 2006.

The time goes by fast. And now we're just a few weeks away. We've got our rings, our marriage license has arrived in Cornberg.

We've had documents translated and notarized. Patricia's mom has acted as our proxy in Germany and has taken care of all the German bureaucrasy for us.

Patricia has had her stagette party - which sounds like it was a good old-fashioned night of female debauchery. And mine is coming up soon.

All that's left to do is write our vows. After all that's what all this is about anyway.

We're Back in the Blogosphere

It's been a long time coming, but we're back. The countdown is on and it's two months until we tie the proverbial knot.

Patricia's been working furiously on the details. She is definitely the Rainman of time management and organization.

From now on we should have regular updates and anecdotes from the wedding planning trail. Even though it's been two- plus years since we started this journey, we thank everyone for staying with us.

We're very thankful and proud of everyone who has shown their support and decided to be with us in Germany. And know those who can't make it wish they could.

We look forward to seeing everyone there. It's going to be great.
